What is The School of Hogwarts?

Since childhood, it has been fascinating for everyone to have been able to watch one of the best animation movies of all time that is the very famous Harry Potter series. It was only when, in 2001, it was first brought to us. Famous writer J.K.Rowling wrote this book. However, the book has a lot more than what is shown in the movies still. The animations outcast anty fault in the movie. It is full of surreal experiences that one would desire. From big heavenly castles to beautiful dormitories, from ceiling candles in the dining area to pillared buildings, all feel like a dream come true after watching Harry Potter. It was an evergreen movie. Many of us would agree to have watched for none less than at least ten times. It is a whole lot of 8 series.

All these parts are full of a child animated world imaginations and sky-high expectations to meet the reality with this magical world. The headmaster of this school is Dumbledore, and the male students are called Wizards while the females are known as Witches. Those who belong to this magical world calls the non-magical folks, The Muggles. The very first thing which Is given to a student when he enters this school is the House of Hogwarts to which he will belong all his life. This work is done by a magical hat that can speak fluently, and its name is The Sorting Cap. Now, the question arises to the viewers as in what Hogwarts house am I?

Let’s see what the qualities of the Houses are, and then we will decide ours. The houses of Hogwarts are:

The Gryffindor is the first house that is shown to show chivalry, pride, and trustworthy paths to be chosen by everyone every time in doing anything. The mascot is a Lion, and the colours of the flag include Maroon and Gold. Godric Gryffindor found this house, and the element of the house is Fire. Professor McGonagall is the house leader, and Sir Headless Nicholas is the house ghost. The common room used as the dormitory of the students of Gryffindor house is guarded by the Fat Lady, who always asks for a password before entering the house.

The Hufflepuff is a house that wants values, truth, Justice, Modesty, Loyalty and patience. Its mascot is a badger, and the colour of the flag has Yellow and Black. The house leader is the Herbology Professor Sprout, and the house ghost is Fat Frier. Hegla Hufflepuff founded this House, and this house is associated with the element Earth.

The Ravenclaw house is famous for all sorts of Intelligence, wit and Enlightenment of knowledge. The mascot of this house is an Eagle, and the colours of the flag are Bronze and Blue. The leader of this house is Filius Flitwick, and he is the Charms teacher. The ghost of this house is Grey Lady. The element of this house is the air, and it was founded by Rowena Ravenclaw.

The Slytherin is the last house, and it encourages Wittiness, ambitions, desire to fulfil every need and Cunningness. The house mascot is a serpent, with the flag colours being Green and Silver particularly. The house leader in the castle is Professor Snape, and the house ghost is Bloody Baron. The founder of this house was Salazar Slytherin, and the element is Water for this house.

The protagonist of this series is Harry Potter, and he belongs to the Gryffindor house. All his opponents, like Draco Malfoy etc., belongs to Slytherin house. The biggest enemy Lord Voldemort also belong to Slytherin, and he is the one throughout the series who brings fate to Harry and counters that back to him.

After watching all the Harry Potter series, one would surely want to get selected in the Gryffindor house because it is full of positivity, and no matter what, they always clear to win the house cup every year. So I like Gryffindor house the most and what about you?
